Writing Questions: Questions are divided into two parts, the Basic Question and Details.

1) The Basic Question – This should be the main portion of the question, and will be what users see when looking at the main Questions List.
–For instance, your main question could be “What are the most essential personal finance units to teach?”

2) Details – These are additional details that will help other users provide better answers, and will only be seen if a user clicks to the specific question thread
–Some helpful details to provide for the Basic Question could be “I teach a semester-long course for 11th and 12th graders that meets five days a week for 45 minutes per day”. That will help users understand who your class will be made up of, and how much time you have to spend with them.

Voting: Answers in a thread will appear based on their votes, with the highest-voted response will appearing first. As a general rule of thumb, you should:

VOTE UP when you find an answer to be incredibly helpful, because it is clear, specific and thoughtful.

VOTE DOWN ONLY WHEN an answer is off-topic or inappropriate.

In summary, we highly encourage voting up great answers, and recommend only using voting down in extreme cases.
