As part of an activity buying/registering and insuring a car I like to have students obtain insurance quotes. Does anyone know of a resource to obtain quotes that doesn’t ask for too much information? I would prefer that my students not have to share email addresses.

This site was slow loading at times but when I got it to work it gave me specific premium information based just on my zip code, car type, whether I ever had insurance before and service in the military: https://www.nerdwallet.com/insurance/compare-car-insurance-rates

I created a “dummy account” for Geico. Using a generic email that I created I had students look for a quote and then make adjustments to the different types of coverage. It worked out pretty well, but students could not personalize the type of car they had. I just picked a default car for them to obtain their quote for. They could still put in information such as GPA discount, past accidents, etc.
